These are the bucks used in our breeding program this year. We extensively use artificial insemination to bring proven genetics into our herd. We know the traits that the bucks in our semen tank are known for and match those bucks with does that would complement the genetics as well as the desired traits. We also use live coverage with bucks that we have bred and raised. The live coverage crosses are selected based once again on genetics and traits that will complement each doe. Each year we breed selected young bucks to proven does in order to determine the quality of offspring the buck is capable of producing.

DGBG Thunderhead Ennobled
Thunderhead is our senior Ennobled herd sire. His genetics and quality have a great influence on our herd. We love his bone, head full of breed character and overall width. Semen is available.
DGBG Ruger's Shot-O-Gold
Shot-O-Gold is an own son of Ruger and he sure takes after his sire! Massive bone, extreme length and beautiful head are traits that he adds to our herd. Now owned by Pryme Farms in Ontario, Canada. Semen is available.
DGBG CODI K2
K2 is an absolutely massive buck that is just two years old. He has raw, rugged power. He is deceptively long and is by far the longest buck that we have ever bred. A full CODI/PCI Kaptein grandson!
DGBG Comet
Comet is out of Ennobled Thunderhead and one of our best show does, DGBG Dancing With the Stars. Thick, muscular and wide, Comet is Thunderhead's heir apparent.
Reference Sires
We are fortunate enough to have semen from some of the greatest bucks in the history of the American Boer Goat in the liquid nitrogen tank. These bucks represent the best genetics that the industry has produced.
DGBG Moonfire
Moonfire is a spring 2011 buck that continues to impress us. We think enough of him to breed him to some of our better does. The Ruger influence is strong in this young buck.
