Nestled in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains, Gilliam Boer Goat Farms is a third generation farm. We have an intensive quality management program with the health and well-being of our goats a top priority. We manage our herd of Full Blood Boer Goats to maximize genetic potential while yet maintaining their ability as meat goats to browse and forage through our woods and rolling hills of pasture. We expect our boer goats to be able to perform in the show ring as well as thrive in commercial operations.
We are very proud of our genetics which include Renoir, Pipeline, Eggsfile, Magnum, Eggs Knight, Top Brass, Winchester, Gunsmoke, Bingo and Bingo's Superman. We are also actively breeding quality full CODI/PCI Boer Goats. Our herd has full CODI/PCI bloodlines that include Renoir, Bigdog, Bull Dog, Leroy, Kaptein, and SB1 Extra Special.
We believe the Boer Goat is a beautiful animal and a wonderful addition to the United States' agricultural industry as a meat goat. We are proud to be a part of this growing industry and hope to contribute to its continuing improvement and to provide the highest quality animal for show, breeding stock, and commercial operations.
We enjoy showing our animals at shows sanctioned by all associations and believe in the importance of these shows and the improvement they bring to the industry.
